Inspiring our Tiny Tigers and shaping our future

Here at Save Wild Tigers we believe in engaging and inspiring a generation.

The future of our planet is highly dependent upon today’s children. Young people will shape our world and will have a huge influence on generations to come.  This is why we think it is fundamental to work with the youth of today to educate them on the plight of the wild Tiger. We want to ensure that the current generation grows up aware of the issues our world faces and is equipped with the knowledge, skills and values to enable change. We aim to inspire them to take action now and in the future, whether it be living sustainably or aspiring to become the next David Attenborough. Together we can make a difference.

In 2013, we successfully ran a nationwide primary schools competition encouraging children to make a tiger out of recycled materials – Tigers Are Not Rubbish. We were amazed by the number of entries and impressed at the high standard of entries we received. We will be launching another schools competition and kids programme so watch this space for more details.

In the mean time please have a look through our Tiny Tigers section – we have some terrific tiger facts, art ideas, lesson plans and resources to engage our nation of Tiny Tigers.
